December 23, 2008 ALBANY, GA (WALB) - M.L King defeated Swainsboro 68-63 to win the U-Save It Holiday Classic Tuesday night.
The Lions Shonkikio Williams was named the tournament most valuable player and M.L. King head coach Eric Mance is an Albany native.
North Clayton beat Westover 68-63 for the third place game.
Monroe beat Albany 58-42 in one consolation game and Colquitt County beat Statesboro 63-60 in the other consolation game.
Swainsboro's Lynquez Blair and Macolm Eady, Westover's Chris Wheeler and North Clayton's Jeffrey Newberry were named to the all-tournament team along with Williams.
