TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Families of soldiers serving our country will have a place to put their presents this Christmas thanks to the help of two South Georgia Christmas tree farms.

The Brumby and White Christmas tree farm in Tift County met their goal when they were able to send 150 trees to the Trees for Troops program.

100 of those trees came from their tree farm and 50 came from the Bill Murray Southern Christmas tree farm in Cordele.

Trees donated were delivered to the families of lower ranking officers who may not have been able to afford to buy a Christmas Tree.
