MONTGOMERY COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Rescue teams from three counties are searching for an elderly man who fell off of a jet ski this afternoon.

Coffee, Jeff Davis, and Montgomery County search and rescue teams are looking for a 67-year-old man who fell off of his jet ski, not far from his home on the Altamaha River.

It happened shortly after 3 Saturday afternoon, the Montgomery County Sheriff says when the man fell off he tried to get back on the jet ski and went under.

The search was suspended on Saturday and will resume on Sunday morning.
