ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One man was injured after a short standoff in Dougherty County on Saturday afternoon.
The man refused to come out of a home, and threatened to harm himself if police came close.
Police were dispatched to this home in the 6100 block of Jenkins Road in Southeast Dougherty County near the Worth County line.
The man threatened to shoot himself if police came near. They got him into custody shortly after.
He was somehow injured and taken to the hospital.
Police are not saying if it was from a gunshot, nor are they releasing his name at this time.
The case is still under investigation.
