Albany State needed only one hour to beat Miles College in a non-conference volleyball match Monday night at the HPER gym.
Janel Herring had 13 kills in the Lady Rams 3-0 win over the Bears who brought only six players to Albany.
The line scores for the three Albany state game wins were 30-10, 30-16 and 30-11.
The defending SIAC champions are hoping to attract more than one thousand fans to their match Wednesday night against arch-rival Fort Valley State.
The Lady Rams (7-5, 4-0) will face the Lady Wildcats at 6pm on Wednesday.
