A little help tackling mosquitoes

Albany - Dougherty County is helping fight mosquitoes in neighboring counties flooded this month. Over the weekend, Dougherty County sent two insect spraying trucks to Seminole and Miller counties.

Standing water left from flash floods created prefect breeding grounds for the virus spreading insects. Dougherty County crews sprayed nearly 65-gallons of mosquito insecticide and taught workers from the two counties how to use larvacide to stop mosquito breeding.
