Albany, GA - AECOM Government Services has suspended its recruitment fair, which was originally scheduled take place at Goodwill's Albany Career Center on both Friday, December 19th and Saturday, December 20th.
An overwhelming response for AECOM's available positions forced recruiters to close the recruitment fair early, following final interviews late Friday evening. This means individuals who were told to return on Saturday for an interview do not need to report at their scheduled times. However, they are encouraged to take their application and resume to the career center beginning at 10 AM on Monday, December 22nd to be kept on file in case positions become available.
Initial numbers indicate that around 1,560 people showed up at Goodwill's Career Center beginning as early as 4:00 AM Friday morning to apply for AECOM positions and more than 450 interviews were conducted.
Goodwill encourages jobs seeks to take advantage of all services its career center offers on a daily basis. This includes assistance with resumes, job referrals, and complimentary access to all computers, faxes, and telephones to aid in the job search process. All Goodwill Career Center services are free to the public and are completely funded through the sale of donated items in Goodwill's retail stores.
