Men learn how to be healthy

September 28, 2002

Albany- The days of people saying they aren't concerned about their health are over, and a new day has arrived, especially for men.

Richard Pogue, Pastor of Friendship Memorial Baptist Church had cancer, and he says he knows the importance of being aware and obtaining preventative care, especially for prostate cancer.

A member of Pogue's congregation, James Hamilton, says he wants no regrets, and he wants to live to see his grandchildren continue to grow.

Besides getting blood pressure readings, prostate cancer screenings, these men also learned the community cares about men's health issues.
