The Deerfield Windsor Girls basketball team is in rebuilding mode this season; but that doesn't mean the Knights don't expect to compete.
Deerfield Windsor is under new direction with Ty Kinslow taking over the head coaching position this season. With only 2 upperclassmen on the roster, the Knights are made up of mostly freshman and sophomores. Coach Kinslow coached many of those Freshman and Sophmores last season when he coached the Knights B team.
"I know they're strengths and weaknesses and what they need to improve on and what they're good at and also they know me. They know how I coach, they know my intensity level" said Kinslow.
The Deerfield Windsor Girls will host Tattnall Square Friday at 6:00, followed by the Deerfield boys taking on Tattnall.
