Blazer basketball hits the top 25

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A great start has gotten the Valdosta State basketball team noticed by the national pollsters.

The 8-1 Blazers are ranked 24th in National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II polls.

It is the first appearance in the national DII polls for the Valdosta State basketball team.

Blazers next game is Sunday in Valdosta against Albany State at 4:00 p.m. at the VSU Complex.

Valdosta State will also host Tampa next Tuesday night.
