ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
It's the offseason in major league baseball but Leesburg's Buster Posey has been very busy.
The number one draft pick of the San Francisco Giants is headed back to Arizona to continue his preparations for his first full season of pro ball.
Since the Giants have signed their number one pick, Posey has been busy playing for several of their farm teams and in the Hawaii Winter League.
Playing baseball is now Buster Posey's job but he doesn't look at it that way.
"I think anybody who has played this game knows what it is like to show up at a field and share that camaraderie with your teammates. Hopefully, that will be the best part of what I will do" said Posey.
Posey was in Tallahassee this weekend to receiver the Dick Howser Trophy he won as the top player in college baseball.Feedback
