Albany -- Dougherty County Emergency Management is also keeping a close eye on Hurricane Isidore. E.M.A. Coordinator Jim Bramble keeping an eye on the category two Hurricane through the National Weather Service's website.

G.E.M.A. sent out a flood watch advisory including Albany this morning, to alert emergency personnel to the threat.

Dougherty County EMA Coordinator Jim Bramble "If we can determine that it is coming toward our area, we will notify all the supporting departments, Public Works especially. Prepare sewer lines to make sure they are clean, holding ponds be pumped out and lowered so we can anticipate a heavy volume of rain."

Bramble said he will keep a close watch on Hurricane Isidore, in case it becomes a threat to South Georgia.
