Valdosta - A late night argument leaves an innocent woman dead. The argument broke out around 4 this morning at the Deli Bar on Northside Drive.
Twenty-nine year old Theodore Smith fired his gun at someone else, but 30-year-old Lula Tekle was shot and killed.
When police arrived at the scene, they passed a green Mazda Protege speeding out of the parking lot. They pulled the car over and found Smith with a loaded gun.
Tekle was a former airman at Moody Air Force Base.
Smith is being held in the Lowndes County Jail charged with murder.
