ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -
The Turner County football team hopes it will will be playing for a State Championship at the Georgia Dome in 2 weeks.
After missing out on the Playoffs last season, Turner County is in the Quarter Finals for the first time in 15 years.
A win over Wilkinson County Friday would send Turner County to the Georgia Dome for the semifinals.
Before the Rebels think about a trip to the dome they will turn their attention to Friday's game.
"Really control the football game by holding onto the football and playing solid defense and making them go nine or ten play drives. If we do that and shorten the game a little bit we like our chances then" said Head Coach Eric Soliday.
Turner County and Wilkinson County will kick off Friday at 7:30 in Ashburn.
