LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - GBI agents are at a Lee County home right now investigating a possible kidnapping after the woman who lives there mysteriously disappeared.

Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the home of 28-year-old Christy Jackson on Flat Ridge Court a little after six o'clock.

Jackson's mother was on the phone with her earlier in the day.

Jackson told her mom a white man driving a white Cadillac was walking up to the house.

After a long pause, the mother hung up.

When she went by the house later, it was ransacked and her daughter was gone.

The GBI is looking for evidence in the house and trying to track down Christy Jackson and the man she mentioned.

Jackson is black, About 5-feet 2-inches tall and 140-pounds.

If you know anything about her whereabouts, call the Lee County Sheriff's Office or the GBI in Americus.
