ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An East Albany restaurant is robbed by a masked gunman.
There are similiarities between this robbery and the armed robbery of another restaurant just across the street last week.
About one Wednesday morning a man with a black mask and a pistol runs into the
Three Squares Diner on East Oakridge, and demands money. Four customers and two employees were inside the diner when the robbery occurred. No one was hurt. But notice the robber tells the clerk to take the entire cash drawer out of the register and takes it with him.
Late Thursday night the Subway just across the street was robbed the same way by a man wearing a black mask, and in that robbery the robber made the employee give him the entire cash drawer too.
