Athens - Georgia was among those watching Georgia Tech run over Miami last Thursday night.
The Bulldogs defense is ready for their first look at the Jackets spread option offense.
It is an attack that Georgia Tech fans hope will end Georgia's seven game winning streak in this rivalry.
Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford may not be suited for an option offense but he is impressed with what the Jackets have done in just one season.
Matthew Stafford said. "It is amazing to see such an old school offense can do what it is doing this year. They are doing a great job. You obviously have to the players for it. They have a really talented quarterback. He is an athletic guy and some running backs that get the job done.
Defensive end Rod Battle said "The toughest part is just trusting yourself. Different plays you have different responsibilities even though you see the quarterback running the other way."
