ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany firefighters had to put down flames at the same vacant home twice in a matter of hours. Firefighters were first called to 1107 Avalon Avenue just after 11:30 PM Friday night.

Flames destroyed a bedroom, hallway, bathroom, and kitchen. Crews were called to the same address again after 4:00 AM Saturday morning.

After that call, the house was declared a total loss. The cause for both fires is undetermined at this time and is under investigation.
