War could make gas prices soar

September 17, 2002

Albany- Right now the average price per gallon in Georgia is a dollar and twenty-five cents. That's well below the national average, but many people expect that to change if we go to war with Iraq.

"We saw it last time when we had war, it went up considerably and I see no difference. It will happen the same way again," says Dannie West.

According to AAA, Georgia gas prices are ten cents cheaper than they were this time last year.
