Chandler, Az. - Number one ranked Darton got exactly what they wanted in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association soccer tournament.
Stephanie Daniels scored three goals and Allison Ryan pitched a shutout in Darton's 4-0 win over Anne Arundel Community College in Chandler, Arizona.
Daniels scored the first goal of the match with an assist from Shakira Duncan in the 17th minute.
Stephanie Daniels scored her second goal unassisted with ten minutes left in the first half.
Daniels got the hat trick within the first ten minutes of the second half with Carolann Simpson registering the assist.
Allison DeVito finished the scoring with a goal in the 62nd minute thanks to the assist from sophomore Rachael McQuade.
Darton goalkeeper Allison Ryan turned back two of three shots Anne Arundel managed to get off against the Lady Cavs defense.
The Darton women are 22-0-1 and will play Chandler-Gilbert Community College in the semifinals 9:30 p.m. Friday night in Chandler, Arizona.
