Tifton - Lowndes High isn't the only team from region 1-AAAAA with a chance at winning a state championship.

All four of the teams from the region have made it to the second round of the state playoffs.

That includes the Tift County Blue Devils who notched a big road win at M.L. King last Saturday night.

The road for the Blue Devils gets tougher with a second round game tomorrow night at third ranked and unbeaten Newnan.

This game could be an offensive shootout with both teams have explosive offenses.

Newnan runs a spread attack and the Blue Devils know it will be a challenge to stop.

Jay Walls said "They do put a lot of pressure on you because you do have to defend the whole field and that is tough. The way they execute. We have got our hands full."

Tift County plays at Newman Friday night at 7:30 p.m..
