Tifton - Two Tift County High school softball teammates are heading in different directions.
Outfielder Kelly Redlinger has signed a Division I scholarship to play at Mercer University.
Lady Blue Devil pitcher Rachel Segers is headed to Division II and the University of West Georgia.
West Georgia signee Rachel Segers said. "I talked to the coach and she said she is looking for me to be in the pitching rotation my freshman year which I am really excited about."
Mercer signee Kelly Redlinger said "It is a D-I school and I am really excited about it. The coach Mike Raynor I really like him. He has got a great, positive attitude. It is a great atmosphere and I am ready to be a part of it."
Redlinger batted .326 for Tift County this season and Rachel Segers had an earned run average of 1.18.
