Albany - The Darton women's soccer team is in Chandler Arizona ready for the start of the national junior college women's tournament Thursday.
The unbeaten and number one ranked Darton opens against Anne Arundel Community College from Maryland in the first round.
It is the same team Darton played in the first round in their last trip to nationals three years ago.
Darton coach Ken Veilands has experienced the pressure of the nationals but no one his roster has.
The coach hopes the butterflies will fly away quickly.
Ken Veilands said. "I think right now they are nervous but comfortable because we are at home. When we get there and the environment is different and the travel. Hopefully we can shake that off the first day. Once we get over that, we will be alright."
Top seed Darton opens the national junior college soccer tournament Thursday at 6:30 p.m. eastern against Anne Arundel Community College.
