Albany- Westover High School health and physical education teacher Vanice Moore appealed to the school board when she didn't get the head softball coach's job.

She's been at the school for nine years. Steve Bowers got the job even though he only recently came to Westover as a teacher.

After a hearing Monday evening, board members ruled Bowers was more qualified.
