Valdosta - Number one ranked Lowndes is ready to take another step towards a fourth state title in the last five years.

The Vikings will host Bradwell Institute on Friday night.

The Tigers from Hinesville surprised some with their first round win over East Coweta on Friday night.

Bradwell is the first team other than Camden County from 3-AAAAA to win a state playoff game in nine years.

Lowndes coach Randy McPherson says his Vikings know you don't overlook anyone in November.

Randy McPherson said. "Motivation has not really been an issue. They want to win. They work hard. They are good kids. I really look for our team to step it up a little bit more each week now that we are in the playoffs."

Lowndes goes for their 26th straight win when the Vikings host Bradwell Institute Friday night at 8:00 p.m. at Martin Stadium.
