VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - One man is in jail, another is still on the run after a high speed chase in Lanier County.
Deputies clocked a truck going 97 in 55 mile per hour zone on Highway 84 near Stockton. When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver abruptly stopped.
Two men jumped out and ran toward the woods. Officers found two bags of what they believe to be cocaine in the truck along with a gun and cash.
Officers caught Fredrick Tyrone Calhoun. Several charges are pending.
They are still searching for the passenger in the truck.
