Thirty-eight-year-old Larry Anthony Grimes is being held without bond in the Colquitt County jail. He is charged with September 9th robbery of the Bank of America in Moultrie.
Grimes was arrested Sunday night in Sylvester near U.S. 82, after a caller reported seeing the suspect. He tried to run from officers, but they captured him after a short chase.
Grimes is also being held on a federal parole violation.

Albany Police have responded to a robbery by snatching at the National Package Store on Oakridge Drive. Dispatch has confirmed the call came in just before 8 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect fled the scene.More >>
