ALBANY, GA (WALB) - WALB is reaching out to help others this holiday season, and we hope you'll join us.
We kicked off our seventh annual Feed the Hungry campaign. Throughout the week, WALB will hold food drives at various Albany businesses.
You can come by a different location each day and drop off non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army to feed hungry families in southwest Georgia.
Monday's drop-off site was Wallace Chevrolet. "This goes back to the community that inevitably makes our paychecks every week for us here and Mr. Paul and Miss Dee think real highly of this type of campaign and every year we try to do something similar to this and we want it full," said Ryan Ellsworth of Wallace Chevrolet.
Tuesday, the collection van will be at Advanced Rehab on North Westover. Hours each day are 10 to 5:00pm.
Here is the list of locations where you can participate--
Tanner Deen Nissan on the motor mile, Wednesday
The KFC on Dawson Road, Thursday
The Battery Source at the Mall, Friday
David Smith's Autoland on the motor mile, Saturday
