ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are asking for help finding a knife wielding armed robber, and a man who snatched money from the register of another store.
Surveillance video from the robbery at the Smith's Super Value on South Harding Street November 13th shows a man wearing a big gray sweatshirt, with the hood pulled over his head, and a red mask covering his face, armed with a knife demanded money.
The clerk gave it to him, and he fled. The suspect is described as about 5-foot-4 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.
Albany Police are also searching for the man who walked into the Hav Mor Food Store in the 2200 block of West Gordon November 5th, and said he wanted to buy cigarettes.
But when the clerk opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed money out of the register and ran. He took off in a pick up truck with another man.
