Barnes surveys flood damage

September 16, 2002

Donalsonville- Governor Roy Barnes spoke to flood victims about the state's clean up efforts.  The governor will determine how much, if any, state emergency funds will be given to the areas hit hardest by this storm.

"You can't prepare for it, and as the commissioner says when you have your house is flooded and your cars washed away, its a great shock," says Barnes.

He also says inmates from local prisons will help relief agencies clean up Donalsonville.
