Auburn, AL (WALB) -
For the second straight week the Georgia defense held strong when the Bulldogs needed it the most.
Auburn was unable to put the ball in the endzone in its' final possession of Saturday's 17-13 Georgia win.
"You always feel like the defense should win the game. Just a great job by the coaching staff for putting in the hard work and also the players" said Georgia CB Asher Allen.
"The last game we gave up too many points. It should have never come down to that. this feels great because they are a good offense and they gave us their best" said Bulldog LB Dannelle Ellerbe.
"I don't think you escape with wins. I think you earn them Our defense shut them down when they had to" said quarterback Matthew Stafford.
"I have learned not to pay attention to the outside stuff. really concentrate on the job itself. get these guys ready to go. I think the guys were anxious to play. they were anxious to play better" said defensive coordiantor Willie Martinez.
Georgia will have a week off before hosting Georgia Tech November 29th in its' final regular season game.Feedback
