Albany State season comes to a halt

Tusculum, TN (WALB) - The football season ended sooner than Albany State had hoped it would Saturday.

Albany State was unable to capitalize on an early 10-0 lead as Tusculum College defeated the Rams 34-22 in the first round of the Division II playoffs.

Albany State has lost five straight playoff games dating back to 2004.

Albany State finished 2008 with an overall record of 7-4.
