Albany- Each year, prostate cancer kills thousands of men.

Some South Georgia men took advantage of a free chance to reduce their risk of becoming the next victim of the disease Saturday.

Phoebe Putney held a free prostate screening for men to help in early diagnosis. These men will receive their results of the test in about two weeks. Coordinator, Patricia Miller, says preventative care can make the difference between life and death for men.
