ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Three Albany men will go to trial next week for the murder of the deputy commander for Albany's Search and Rescue Team.

Forty-three year old Jack Camp was shot in the head in March 2007 when he confronted a suspicious person at the Regency Club Apartment complex where he lived and worked as a courtesy officer.

Darrell Anderson, Christopher Ingram and Dontavius Wilson are all later charged with Camp's murder. Each has a separate attorney, but they wanted the case brought to trial together.

"The defense has filed a demand for trial and so per the demand for trial we will be going to trial on Monday with this particular matter," said Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edwards.

Dontavius Wilson is charged with malice murder for shooting Camp. Darrell Anderson and Christopher Ingram are charged with felony murder. All three face multiple weapons and drug charges. Jury selection will begin Monday.
