Lee County- The Lee Co. government has agreed on a $3.6 million price for 25 acres of land next to Wal-Mart.

John Gay of Ledo Properties owns the land, as well as the Grand Island Golf Course and Club. The deal is separate from a proposed plan by Gay to donate Grand Island to the County.

The County Commission has not come to any agreement with Gay over Grand Island. This property is zoned commercial and will most likely be developed into retail space by the County.
