TIFTON, GA (WALB) - A man with a shotgun tried to rob a Tifton pharmacy of narcotics.
The masked man demanded the powerful painkiller OxyContin from the pharmacist at Ruby's Pharmacy Tuesday.
Even though he was holding a sawed-off shotgun, the pharmacist refused to give him the drug. He left empty-handed and luckily no one was hurt.
The robber is about six-feet-tall, had a black canvas bag over his head, and was wearing a tan jacket. If you have any information about this case, call Tifton Police at 229-382-3132.
