Deerfield-Windsor golfer headed to Valdosta State

November 12, 2008

Albany -  When you win state titles, it will attract interest from college recruiters.

Deerfield-Windsor's Collin Ho on Wednesday signed a golf scholarship with Valdosta State.

Collin is a member of a Deerfield-Windsor team that has won back to back GISA state titles.

Collin is not only excited about fulfilling his goal of earning a college golf scholarship.

He is also looking forward to playing on the same team with his friends Clark Hendricks from Moultrie and Trey McQuaig from Valdosta.

Collin Ho said "Hopefully we can go down together and a bunch of us qualify for a bunch of tournaments. We are on the team. Go play and do well in them."

Collin Ho is the second member of the Deerfield-Windsor golf team to sign a scholarship.

T.J. Mitchell signed with Georgia last year.
