ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An attempted break-in at a Cordele store caught unusual suspect on tape. A four-legged one.

Video from the Radio Shack store near the Cordele Walmart shows a somewhat confused deer breaking windows at Golden's Beauty Salon and at Cato's and setting off the alarm at Rent-A-Center.

It didn't appear he was injured and he didn't actually get inside any of the stores. A witness told police the deer ran behind the shopping center.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources folks say when deer behave like this, it is often because of a brain abscess cause by an injury.

Police did report a deer-car collision not far from those stores, in which the deer survived.
