ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Customers at an Albany bank had their transactions taken care of by would-be soldiers and Marines Monday.
In honor of Veteran's Day, employees at the Bank of America on North Westover dressed up in military garb. It was the bank's way of paying tribute to the men and women who fought for and continue to serve our country.
Two employees didn't have to look far for a uniform. One's a Navy veteran and Bank of America Personal Banker Sergio Gonzalez served in the Air Force.
"It is really a special day especially for those who have been there and know what it is to sacrifice time and family to be out there and serve our country," said Gonzalez.
Bank of America also has a way to help military members out year-round. Veterans and active military-members receive a financial incentive for opening up a new account at the bank.
