ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The owner of a historic Albany restaurant hopes the third time is the charm. Hubbles Taste of the South opened on North Washington Street Monday.

Meats and veggies make up the main part of the menu. For seafood lovers, there will fish fries every Friday. This is the third time owner Peter Studl has opened the restaurant in just three years. He's hoping this venture will be successful.

Kitchen Manager Michael Bell said, "Well we just want everybody in the south to understand that we're here and we provide a great service and we believe you'll leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face."

Studl said, "We've learned and part of it is, we will get you in and out of here during your lunch hour." Hubbles is open only for lunch. Anyone who gives them a try this week, gets one dollar off their meal.
