ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Monday was Catherine Glover's first day. She moved to Albany from a similar position in Binghamton, New York.

Glover succeeds Tim Martin, who was asked to resign in March. Glover says her first impression of Albany and the people here is a good one.

"I've only been in Albany a week, a week today and the weather has been lovely and all of the folks are extremely cordial. Very warm, very friendly," she said.

Glover has her work cut out for her. She's already been busy working on the Cooper campaign, taking part in talks to keep the plant here.
