Albany --  Victims of the terrorist attacks were remembered at the morning colors ceremony at MCLB.

Marines, sailors, and civilian workers at the Base started the morning with prayers. A flag that flew over Ground Zero was raised at the base. And the base workers were reminded they are still part of the war on terrorism.

The commander of the Marine Corps Materiel Command, Brig. General Bradley Lott said "All Americans must recognize the power that they hold as individuals, and as a group, to defend our freedom. You all have the power to combat terrorism. One way is to live you lives as you did before 9-11."

The Albany Marine Base continues work, while on a heightened state of security, Force Protection Condition Bravo.
