A new DC Commissioner

September 10, 2002

Albany - With only a few races on the ballot in Dougherty County, voter turnout was extremely low. Only 10.4% of registered voters cast ballots.

William Hall is grateful for the 443 people who did come out to vote for him in his Dougherty County Commission race against Brenda Brown. Hall received a little more than 60% of the votes. Hall once ran for school board. This is his first victorious race for public office.

Hall will join two other new faces on the commission. Chuck Lingle and Commission chairman Jeff Sinyard won their races in the primary.
