VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Record shattering voter turnout in Lowndes County. 80% of registered voters cast ballots.

The presidential election stirred a lot of interest and Lowndes county also had some big local races.

The election supervisor says they also received a record number of provisional ballots and have nearly 400 to count by the end of the week.
