Magnolia, Ark. - Valdosta State showed no signs of fatigue in a 38-16 win over Southern Arkansas Monday night.
The game was the third for the Blazers in nine days with the two teams making up a game that was postponed in early September due to Hurricane Ike.
Southern Arkansas jumped out to a 10-0 lead on the Blazers.
Valdosta State rallied to take a 17-10 halftime lead thanks to two touchdown passes from Chris Hart to T.J. Williams.
Tucker Pruitt opened the second half with a 63 yard touchdown pass to Albert Dukes.
After Carlos Anderson forced a fumble on a Valdosta State punt, Chris Hart threw a 11 yard touchdown pass to Dukes to give the Blazers a comfortable 31-10 lead.
Southern Arkansas came back with a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Chris Hart's fourth touchdown pass of the game sealed the Blazers eighth win of the season.
Isaiah Jupiter caught Hart's fourth touchdown pass of the game.
For the game, Hart and Pruitt combined for 317 yards passing and five touchdowns.
Valdosta State is 8-2 and will wait to Sunday to find out where they will be playing in the Division II playoffs.
The Blazers are third in the NCAA DII Super Regional Two poll released on November 3rd and should remain in the top six when the final poll is released on Sunday.
