COFFEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The State Fire Marshall is investigating a Coffee County fire that sent two people to the Augusta Burn Center.

Firefighters were called to Joe Ellis Road in Broxton after a double-wide mobile home went up in flames Sunday morning.

52-year-old Bobby Lee Gifford and his grand-daughter 6-year-old Kadafa Campbell were treated for smoke inhalation and were both transported to the Joseph Still Burn Center for burns to the face and arms.

Firefighters spent more than an hour putting out that fire. The mobile home was a complete loss.
