ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With just a day of campaigning left some candidates took to the streets hoping that visibility Monday will translate into votes Election Day.

Candidate for Dougherty County Superior Court Judge Denise Marshall picked the high traffic corner of Jefferson and Oglethorpe to remind voters to cast a ballot for her Tuesday. She says over the last week her campaign has targeted high traffic areas where they wave to voters. Marshall says she's encouraged by the number waving back.

"It's proven good for us. We've gotten a lot of good support, a lot of honks, a lot of horns, I've gotten water, coffee juice you name it, they've been very good to us, we've really enjoyed it," said Denise Marshall, Superior Court Judge Candidate.

Marshall is running against Judge Willie Weaver who currently serves as the Municipal Court Judge in Albany.
