Valdosta - With three games in nine days, it helps if the middle game is a lopsided win.
That is what the Blazers got with a 41-14 victory over winless West Georgia Thursday night.
Valdosta State led 21-7 at halftime.
Marcus Manson started the scoring with a 30-yard touchdown run for the Blazers.
Tucker Pruitt threw a one yard touchdown pass to DaMarcus Flanagan to make it 14-0 and Pruitt's touchdown run in the second quarter counted for the Blazers third touchdown of the first half.
The second half started with Tucker Pruitt scoring on a quarterback sneak.
Albert Dukes then blocked a Wolves punt and Derrick Harris ran it in for another Blazers touchdown.
Freshman Mike Brown from Bainbridge capped off a big night for him with a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Valdosta State is 7-2 and will close out the regular season on Monday night with a makeup game at Southern Arkansas.
The game was postponed in September by Hurricane Ike.
