Albany - Good news and bad news for the Westover cross-country teams.
The Lady Patriots win a fourth straight region 1-AAA title.
The boys streak of six consecutive region crowns was ended by Perry.
Perry's Jesse Yeomans won the individual title to lead the Panthers to the region title.
Westover boys finished second.
Cairo's JaCourtney Alexander won the girls individual title but twin sisters Moneka and Moneque English finished second and third to lead the Lady Patriots to the region crown.
The top four teams advance to the GHSA state cross country meet in Carrollton on November 8th.
