Albany - The Darton College women's soccer team is 18-0 and ranked number one in the nation.

All that will mean nothing if the Cavaliers don't win their region title.

The top seed Lady Cavs got a first round bye and are preparing to play Truett-McConnell in the semifinals Friday at the Darton soccer complex.

Head coach Ken Veilands is concerned with the fact his team has to come from behind to win in recent matches.

He is hoping that won't happen since the Lady Cavs will be on their home field this weekend.

Ken Veilands said "They can do the things they need to do to relax. gives us a chance to focus on playing and not traveling."

Darton women play Truett-McConnell Friday night at six in GJCAA Region XVII semifinals.

Young Harris faces Middle Georgia in the other semifinal on Friday night.

The championship game is Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Darton.
